Kathmandu, Dec.14: The Nepali month of Mangsir marks the wedding season, when the entire country is enveloped in countless marriage ceremonies. Considered a preferable month to tie the knot, it’s only natural that families and peers pester their loved ones who are of marriageable age to officiate relationships.
The pressure is especially apparent among celebrities whose relationships are of greater interest to their fans as much as it is to their family members.
Actress Shweta Khadka, public speaker, and singer Ramesh Prasai among others, have tied the nuptial knot in the Nepali month of Mangsir.
Meanwhile, Actress Benisha Hamal has felt the pressure of getting married for three years.
Sharing her thoughts on social media, ‘ Blind Rocks’ actress Benisha mentioned that she has been feeling the pressure of marriage from family, relatives, friends, followers, and the media for the past three years.
She writes, “Regardless of whether you are in a relationship or not as a woman the pressure to get married is real. I have felt this pressure in the last three years from family, relatives, friends, followers, and media – sometimes it’s stressful isn’t it!!! Until you get notified to buy a new dress, let me groove in others’ weddings.”
Recently, she signed a film ‘Bhadakuti’ to be directed by Kiran BK.
She will be busy in the shooting of the movie from January in Rupandehi.
In the film, she is paired with actor Mukun Bhushal.
