Kathmandu, Jan 12: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Development of Bagmati Province, Rameshwor Phunyal, has said that preparation has been made to call a tender for the construction of three tunnel routes including one connecting Hetauda, the capital of Bagmati Province to Kathmandu, the central capital.
During the monitoring of the 104-year-old 200-meter tunnel route located at Churiyamai temple premises along Hetauda-Birgunj road section, Minister Phunyal shared that budget has been allocated for the construction of tunnel routes—Budhanilkantha-Gokarneshwor of Kathmandu to-Batuwatal, Bhimphedi of Makawanpur-Kulekhani Posta Bahadur Bogate.
He added that the Ministry has been fulfilling the legal process to announce tender for the construction of three tunnel routes and notice would be published within a few days.
Minister Phunyal directed engineers and technicians to work with honest to make people of the province assure about development.
Similarly, he also carried out an onsite visit of the tunnel route at Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-15.
