Kathmandu, Aug 13 : With sharp fall of Rs 6,200 on Wednesday, the price of per tola (11.66 grammes) fine gold has increased by Rs 2400 in the local market on Thursday.
According to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of per tola fine gold is fixed at Rs 97,800 for today from Thursday’s Rs 95,400.
Likewise, the price of used gold is fixed at Rs 97,300 today.
Crossing Rs 100,000 mark of the yellow price in the local market some days ago, the price of gold saw a freefall for some days before increasing its price for today.
The price of the gold had reached at its peak in the history on August 7. On that day, the price of fine gold was recorded Rs 103,500 per tola in the Nepali market.
Similarly, the price of silver is fixed at Rs 1,295 per tola by increasing Rs 85 on Thursday.
