Banke, Mar. 11: A person sustained serious injuries when a fire engulfed a sandal factory.
Factory worker Dilip Kumar Chamar was seriously injured in a fire that broke out in Jayashree Siyaram sandal factory at Janaki rural municiplaity-3, Indrapuri in Banke at 12.00 last night.
Most of the parts of his body burnt in the incident. He was rushed to Bheri Zonal Hospital for treatment.
The fire was doused only at 8.00 am this morning, shared Banke district police spokesperson DSP Shiva Bahadur Singh.
The fire gutted raw materials and almost all produced materials.
