By TRN Online, Pokhara, July 24: A discussion programme has been held in Pokhara to begin the direct flight between Pokhara-Dhaka.
The programme was organized by Nepal Association for Tour and Travel Agent (NATTA) Gandaki.
Participating in the programme representative of Bangladesh and Pokhara tourism entrepreneurs have emphasized that direct flight will promote tourism in both countries.
Country Manager of Biman Bangladesh, Ashishur Rehman said that direct flight will enhance the link between Dhaka and Pokhara. He said that the people of Bangladesh are attracted to the vista of Pokhara.
President of Pokhara Tourism Council, Gopi Bahadur Bhattarai said that ushering in 10 per cent of tourists from Bangladesh will significantly promote the tourism of Pokhara.
President of Paschimanchal Hotel Association, Bikal Tulachan said that more than 50 thousand tourists come from Bangladesh in Nepal every year. He said that around 20 thousand amoung them are likely to come to Pokhara.
