By A Staff Reporter, Kathmandu, Feb. 9: Chairman of IME Group and Vice-chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) Chandra Prasad Dhakal has been honoured with ‘Asian Leadership Award’.
Prime Minister KP Oli honoured Dhakal with the award amidst a function organised by the Asian Association of Management Organizations (AAMO) and Management Association of Nepal in the capital recently.
AAMO provides the award to one proficient businessman who contributes to the economic development and prosperity of the country through entrepreneurship.
Dhakal received the award for the year 2020.
The organisation said Dhakal, who is the Chairman of Global IME Bank and Chandragiri Hill, was provided the award for his proficient and successful leading roles in Nepal’s business sector.
While receiving the honour, Dhakal said that the award would help supply energy to move ahead and concentrate further in the mission of economic prosperity and development of the country.
AAMO is the common platform of the management professionals in Asia.
