In the upcoming election of the FNCCI to be held on Saturday, Adhikari who is representing the film industry is getting overwhelming support from the film artistes and others of the industry.

Adhikari has joined the election fray with upliftment and promotion of the film industry as his main agenda.
By describing his candidacy, he said, “I have once again nominated myself as a member of the Executive Committee on Commodity Affairs at the 54th National Convention of the Federation of Nepali Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Before this, everyone loved me and backed me to win. I have done a lot of things that I have to do.
I entered Nepal’s film industry 26 years ago with a master's degree in film directing and acting from India and have been active in this field to this day.”
Stating that the bright future of the artistes depends on the film industry, he said since his election to the FNCCI in 2073 BS he was able to list the film industry as a national priority industry.
“It used to take one to three months to censor a Nepali film in India, sometimes the story and dialogues had to be translated into Hindi but today the date of censorship can be taken online,” he added.
Similarly, the project insurance programme has been started in his effort in reducing the risk to the producer in film production, he said, adding that he introduced the state-of-the-art Red 4K digital camera, which was made in Hollywood in 2008 and he claimed that the box-office has been implemented since 2075 BS in his initiative.
He urged everyone to back him to win the election.
